dark raspberry and earth that is trimmed in just enough wood to merit pointing out
kirsch and prune preserves notions with hints of cigar box
A smoky and beautifully layered nose is composed of notably ripe yellow fruit
A high-toned nose is also airy and pure with its mostly red berry fruit nose that reflects plenty of floral influence
(from a full 1 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines aged in approximately 1/3 new oak with a slightly longer élevage than the prior wines)
Paul Pillot, Chassagne Montrachet Caillerets Vintage:2010 dark raspberry and earth thatAn elegant, pure and relatively high toned nose of citrus and floral elements that display a top note of lightly spiced pear. There is excellent detail and intensity to the precise medium weight and driving flavors that possess a long, linear and palate staining finish. This is lovely and should age well too. (90 93) 2014+
